I first found this match via 23andMe. Ms Eberhardt and I are 4th cousins, 2x removed and we share one segment of 9 centiMorgans on the 13th chromosome. Our match is via my 5x Great Grandparents, William Riddle Powell and Sarah Franklin. I descend from their son, Wiley and Ms Eberhardt descends through their daughter, Cynthia.
Ms Eberhardt and I have also both tested at ftDNA. She does not show up in my matches, though she does show up in my fathers. The same segment from chromosome 13 shows up, as do larger matches on the 7th and 8th chromosomes. She and my father are 4th cousins, 1x removed.
